After nearly ten years as a trustee, three as chair, Michael Bracey will step down from the Board of the National Youth Agency.
In a letter to colleagues, supporters and fellow Board Members, Michael paid tribute to “all those excellent people I’ve had the pleasure of working with at the NYA. This includes two other trustees, Charles Mills and Helen Thomson, who joined the board at the same time as me back in 2009 and who are also coming to the end of their term as trustees.”
“I’m delighted that Barbara Bradley, who has served as one of our Vice Chairs, will be taking over from 1st August 2018. There is no doubt that Barbara has the best interests of the agency at heart and will make a great Chair for the organisation moving forward.” You can read Michael’s letter in full below.
The NYA is grateful to Michael for all his hard work during the last decade and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. NYA also wishes to thank Charles Mills and Helen Thomson, who have also come to the end of their roles on the Board of Trustees.
The NYA would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Barbara Bradley as the new Chair of the Board of Trustees. Barbara has served as Vice-chair previously and will do an excellent job moving the organisation forward.
