Supporting young people in the present, ambitious for the future

On 31st October we will welcome the sector to Westminster for the NYA Youth Work Summit 2018.

It is a critical time for youth work and investment in youth services. In the face of societal and economic challenges, youth work is seen as transformational to the lives of young people, to have their views heard and be treated fairly.

The Summit brings together youth workers, voluntary and statutory organisations, government agencies and supporters, alongside senior politicians and policy-makers: to strengthen the cause of youth work.

  • Cross-party report’ – debate the findings of the first national inquiry in to youth work and services since 2011, from the APPG on Youth Affairs
  • Help shape the future’ – leading contributors on national standards for youth work and review of statutory of youth services, and a Youth Covenant for young people
  • What is youth work?’ – take part in the launch of Youth Work Week activities to run across the country
