SUMMARY:Solidarity Session 2: Lessons from Others
DESCRIPTION:National Youth Agency\, UK Youth and the Network of Regional Youth Work Units are convening sessions where anyone in the youth sector can learn from experts by experience to help us collectively address growing divides in our communities. \n\n\n\nFor this session\, we’re joined by YouthAction Northern Ireland\, with contributions from Martin Mc Mullan\, CEO of YouthAction NI.  \n\n\n\nMartin brings nearly three decades of experience in peacebuilding youth work\, from supporting young men affected by sectarian violence to shaping international policy on conflict\, human rights and reconciliation. His work across Northern Ireland and internationally shows the power of youth work to hold complexity\, repair relationships and rebuild trust. \n\n\n\nThis session is for anyone in the youth sector who wants to learn from places where young people and communities have navigated deep division\, and where youth workers have had to respond with courage\, creativity and care.
