DESCRIPTION:In a world where young people are increasingly living\, learning\, and connecting online\, youth workers have a critical role to play in creating safe\, supportive\, and empowering digital environments for young people. \n\n\n\nThis training series is designed to provide youth workers with the skills\, knowledge\, and confidence to embed digital tools into their practice while placing safeguarding at the heart of everything they do. \n\n\n\nSession summary \n\n\n\nThis four-hour Zoom training session is designed to help youth workers navigate the risks and responsibilities of delivering youth work online. \n\n\n\nParticipants will explore key safeguarding principles\, data protection regulations\, and best practices for creating safe and secure digital spaces for young people. \n\n\n\nThrough interactive discussions\, real-world scenarios\, and practical exercises\, youth workers will gain a deeper understanding of online risks\, including privacy concerns\, incident responses and managing platforms safely. \n\n\n\nThe session will equip participants with essential tools and strategies to integrate safeguarding and data protection into their online delivery\, ensuring young people’s safety and wellbeing remain priority.  \n\n\n\nPlease note\, This course is only for individuals working in England.
