DESCRIPTION:*Note: We ask that Young Leaders/Volunteers and Youth Workers are in the same online space. A Youth Worker will need to register for the event and add the numbers of others attending. Organisations are responsible for acquiring consent from young people. This session is live and will not be recorded.  \n\n\n\nDo you work with young leaders (aged 16 plus)?  \n\n\n\nJoin us during Youth Work Week 2025 for this free masterclass\, delivered in partnership with the British Red Cross\, which will equip you and your young leaders with basic first aid skills.     \n\n\n\nFollowing the 75-minute masterclass\, you and your young leader will feel better equipped to talk about\, deliver and use the First Aid Champions resources and the everyday approach to First Aid.  \n\n\n\nThe session will: \n\n\n\n\nEmpower young leaders\, volunteers\, and youth workers with the knowledge and confidence to talk about and deliver First Aid education. \n\n\n\nIntroduce and explore the First Aid Champions resources and the Everyday First Aid approach in a youth-friendly and engaging way. \n\n\n\nTeach you how to foster a culture of preparedness and compassion through practical first aid skills and peer-to-peer learning.

DESCRIPTION:Join us this Youth Work Week for an empowering Youth Work Insight session exploring inclusive and affirming youth work practices for neurodivergent young people.  \n\n\n\nThis 90-minute facilitated webinar will feature sector specialists and the voice of those with lived-experience\, offering insights into how youth work can be radically inclusive\, responsive and empowering. \n\n\n\nThe session will unpack the concept of neurodivergence as a form of diversity rather than deficit\, challenge stereotypes and stigma and explore how youth work can support young people with or without a formal diagnosis. Attendees will gain practical strategies to make their youth practice more accessible\, drawing upon the lived experiences of the expert panel. DESCRIPTION:In a world where young people are increasingly living\, learning\, and connecting online\, youth workers have a critical role to play in creating safe\, supportive\, and empowering digital environments for young people. \n\n\n\nThis training series is designed to provide youth workers with the skills\, knowledge\, and confidence to embed digital tools into their practice while placing safeguarding at the heart of everything they do. \n\n\n\nSession summary \n\n\n\nThis half day training session equips youth workers with the knowledge and practical skills to safely and effectively integrate online gaming into their youth work practice. \n\n\n\nWith a focus on platforms such as Minecraft and Roblox\, participants will explore the benefits of gaming for youth engagement\, learning\, and social development. \n\n\n\nThe session will address key considerations\, including safeguarding\, managing online interactions\, and setting up safe gaming environments. \n\n\n\nThrough hands-on activities and discussions\, youth workers will gain confidence in using gaming as a tool to connect with young people while ensuring a safe\, positive\, and inclusive online experience. \n\n\n\nPlease note\, This course is only for individuals working in England.
