SUMMARY:Designated Safeguarding Lead Training for the Youth Sector - Birmingham
DESCRIPTION:DCMS discounted rate: £200 (+VAT) per person. \n\n\n\nTailored for those working with 8-24-year-olds and holding safeguarding responsibilities in a youth work setting\, this two-day intensive in-person training equips you for the pivotal role of Designated Safeguarding Lead. It will equip you with the knowledge and tools to effectively foster a young person centred safeguarding culture\, to elevate awareness of safeguarding and child protection issues within your organisation. \n\n\n\nYour commitment (You must be able to meet these commitments in order to undertake this training): \n\n\n\n\nCompletion of a Basic Safeguarding course in the last 2 years.\n\n\n\nA suitable level of youth work training or experience\, ideally a JNC recognized L3 qualification.\n\n\n\nWorking with young people aged 8-25 (not exclusively).\n\n\n\nFull support from your workplace for course participation.\n\n\n\n100% participation and successful completion of all assessed elements.\n\n\n\nDedication to creating an action plan and completing a review after 6 months.\n\n\n\n\nFind out more and secure your place.
