Transforming lives

When young people have a sense of belonging communities become stronger. After a decade of austerity, the political upheaval of Brexit and in the face of major societal and environmental challenges we MUST invest in young people, supported in the present and ambitious for their future, and treated fairly.

Youth work is a form of education engaging young people in their communities, ensuring no young person is ‘left behind’, developing the skills, resilience and social networks needed in a rapidly changing world. As such youth work can help develop young people’s voice, influence and their place in society, active in their communities.

High-5 demands

There are 5 core demands to set a positive agenda for young people, supported by the values and contribution of youth work, in an increasingly complex world. Please click below to see the full detail on the manifesto.
