The NYA is the leading national charity for youth work and was created in 1964 to act as the national body for the youth work profession. Since 2010 the NYA has received no state funding to support our sector development work.

We are happy to receive donations in kind as well as monetary donations.

Last year around 7% of our total expenditure was on equipment and professional fees. If we received some of this through support in kind or pro bono work, that is all money that could be spent directly on supporting young people, developing the youth sector workforce, and lobbying for better recognition of the amazing impact that youth work has.

Anything can help, from computers and electrical equipment to venues for events. We are also happy to accept pro bono legal, marketing and accountancy work.

Our offices across the UK are all run by our dedicated staff and we are always in need of furniture, office equipment, printing resources etc.

A great opportunity for young people (14+) to express their opinions and influence decision-making

The results from this survey will be shared with DCMS as they work on a possible new programme for the youth sector

Please share with your networks and youth groups!
