The NYA Academy aims to enhance the skills and confidence of Youth Work practitioners so they can safely and effectively support young people.
It’s hard to imagine a more rewarding career than youth work.
You’re responsible for supporting young people during one of the most important periods of their life, helping to inspire and motivate them, and encouraging them to try new experiences and opportunities.
The difference you make can be life-changing.
Which is why we believe it’s crucial that everyone who provides support to young people has the skills, knowledge and confidence to do so safely and effectively.
Our Academy is a dedicated online learning platform offering high quality accredited training and informal learning for everyone in the youth work sector. Whether you’re just beginning to consider youth work as a career or are looking to expand your existing skills, we have a course for you.
All training is delivered with intensive support from youth work specialists and can be completed at a time and place to suit you.

”“My course tutor, Kayleigh, was extremely knowledgeable and was able to word things in a way that made me fully understand what was being asked of me. The course gave me more confidence around how to manage conflict and also helped extend my knowledge of safeguarding laws, policies, and procedures. I gained a wealth of knowledge on the course and would recommend it to others working with young people.”
