Service Review

Assessing your existing youth provision, identifying gaps and recommending how you can build a high-quality youth work offer.

What are the benefits of a Service Review?

The NYA has a wealth of experience in understanding what high quality, effective youth work looks like and how to identify and measure quality, best practice and performance. A Service Review will enable you to effectively map your local youth provision against the identified needs of young people and understand where there are gaps. It will analyse the local workforce; assess the quality of existing youth provision and the effectiveness of youth work practice; and can also evaluate safeguarding policy and process within the authority and its grantees. Dependant on the size of review and your needs we will gain both quantitative and qualitative data through surveys and focus groups with key stakeholders to help inform your comprehensive final report including recommendations.

What’s included?

We offer a menu of options for your review, depending on how in-depth you wish the review to be, the time and budget available and your organisations size. A review typically takes between three and nine months to deliver.
