Policy and research

Building the evidence base on the value of youth work and driving impactful policy solutions.

We carry out research and policy projects to evidence the impact of youth work on young people’s lives and to help build the case to improve the quality and quantity of youth work provision in England.

We work closely with other youth sector organisations, national and local government and allied sector partners on emerging priorities and opportunities to support young people through the power of youth work.

Our work includes being commissioned by government to build the evidence base which informs policy change, as well as identifying other gaps in research and datasets relating to the impact of youth work.

We contribute to parliamentary inquiries and debates and convene national and regional events for the youth sector.
