Together with the Regional Youth Work Units we manage the bursary funding scheme for youth work courses on behalf of the Department of Culture Media and Sport.
Together with the Regional Youth Work Units we have been selected by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport since 2019 to offer and distribute a number of youth work training bursaries across the country. This bursary scheme opens up exciting opportunities in the youth work profession, as well as the chance to specialise in different areas of youth work, or progress into a leadership role.
Youth work is a rewarding career choice, providing the satisfaction of enabling young people to build their skills and confidence and discover their talents working with young people in a range of settings, including schools, healthcare and secure environments.
Whether you are a school leaver, volunteer or are looking for a career change, these bursaries could help you to progress within this vital, vibrant sector.
