As part of Children in Need’s ambition to secure a new generation of 500 youth workers over three years, you can now apply for one of 250 spaces on youth work qualification courses in the 25/26 round of bursaries.
Made possible by McDonalds funding the National Youth Agency has been awarded £290,000 over two years to deliver 500 youth work qualifications at levels 2 and 3.
Depending on their existing level of qualification, grantees can apply for one of:
- Level 2 Award in Youth Work Principles (self-led) – A self-led introductory accredited youth work qualification that builds confidence and skills
- Level 2 Award in Youth Work Principles (webinar) – A tutor-led introductory accredited Youth Work qualification that builds confidence and skills
- Level 3 Diploma in Youth Work Principles – A tutor-led JNC recognised qualification supplying the skills and knowledge learners need to become a competent Youth Support Worker.
