Hi, I’m Ben! I am a university student from Hampshire, and I have been an NYA Youth Consultant since July 2024. Having been fostered and adopted as a child, I have experienced the social mobility that many never have the opportunity to, and that fuels my passion for youth voice and youth opportunity. This passion has led me to the NYA, and I look forward to helping ensure that young people are represented in carrying out our projects and policies. When not studying at uni, I’m a keen long-distance runner, and a big fan of Southampton FC. I study and speak Spanish, having lived in northern Spain for 10 months. I’m involved in local politics, and I have been a Formula 1 fan since I was 4 years old.
