Framework for Working with Young People in Governance

This toolkit is designed for organisations who work with, or aspire to work with, young people in governance and leadership roles; this may involve setting the strategic direction of the organisation and the development of governance processes.

The toolkit and accompanying short course are made up of 2 Chapters, both contain useful downloadable resources, templates and website links.

Chapter 1 covers the ‘Framework for working with young people’ in governance, leadership, decision-making or influencing roles and activities in your organisation.

Chapter 2 is a ‘Diagnostic Toolkit’ that prompts you to think about specific areas of governance before you engage with young people. A checklist and some resources are provided to support this process.

Once you have worked your way through both chapters you will be able to access a list of resources and further learning opportunities.
