This year’s theme, Building Brighter Futures: Safe places, trusted support, and opportunities to thrive, highlights the essential role youth work plays in helping young people feel secure, supported and empowered to reach their full potential.

How you can get involved:
Young people
Youth Work Week is a chance for young people to share their experiences and celebrate the spaces and people that support them.
- Share your story on social media using #YouthWorkWeek or #YWW25
- Submit content on what a safe space means to you, and how a youth worker can better create/support that space
- Attend local youth club events or NYA-hosted online practice sessions
Use your voice to highlight the importance of youth work, take part in celebratory activities, and showcase the difference your local youth club or youth work provision makes.
Youth clubs and providers, and youth work students
Youth clubs are at the heart of the campaign, showcasing the real-world impact of youth work.
- Use NYA’s branded templates and campaign hashtags to celebrate your young people
- Host open days or community events to showcase your services. Invite your local MP and other dignitaries along
- Share stories of youth workers and young people on your platforms. Show how you’ve provided support and safe spaces, allowing for brighter futures
- Encourage staff and volunteers to attend NYA’s online practice sessions
