The Principles of how to engage with Young People
In this unit, learners will explore the theories and principles behind engaging with young people to gain a better understanding of it and the different models of delivery and engagement. This is relevant to ensure that learners are able to apply their new knowledge in their roles when engaging with young people.
Safe Practice within a Youth Setting – The Basics
In this unit, learners will review how policies, practices and procedures are designed within their workplace to ensure health and safety and safeguarding. Learners will examine why professional boundaries are important for those who work with young people and how to maintain these in their roles.
How to Engage Young People in Your Local Community
In this unit, learners will explore their own local area and the key issues that impact the young people that live there. They will also have the opportunity to develop an understanding of how to better engage with young people around these issues.
