Mae'r cwrs byr hwn wedi'i gynllunio i rymuso gweithwyr ieuenctid sy'n dechrau ar eu taith i ddiogelu neu sy'n chwilio am arweiniad ar sefydlu arferion diogelu. Ynglŷn â'r cwrs
Drwy gydol y profiad dysgu hwn, byddwn yn dilyn taith Alex, gweithiwr ieuenctid ymroddedig sy'n awyddus i lansio grŵp ieuenctid lleol sy'n canolbwyntio ar gefnogi plant 11–13 oed. Mae'r cwrs hwn yn eich cyfarparu i:
- Articulate the purpose and significance of safeguarding.
- Identify the essential components for developing a robust and effective safeguarding culture.
- Adapt your safeguarding practices to various settings, including on, offline, or blended youth work.
- Advocate for youth involvement in shaping safeguarding cultures, ensuring their voices are heard.
Key topics covered include the purpose and definitions of safeguarding, the five principles for cultivating a strong safeguarding culture, considerations related to age and environment, the crucial role of young people in safeguarding development, and navigating policies, procedures, and governance requirements.
