In youth work, the responsibility for safety extends beyond the frontline. For Senior Leaders and Trustees, this is a core governance function that helps ensure young people are safe during programmes, and staff remain safe whilst working.
This session is designed to support leadership teams in embedding health and safety as a core governance responsibility and will outline how health & safety complements safeguarding responsibilities. We focus on the strategic side of safety; helping you understand your legal duties, manage organisational risk, and foster a proactive safety culture.
