Standing in Solidarity Space 4 – Disinformation, riots, misogyny, global conflict and racism

NYA, RYWU and UK Youth will be joined by Zubeda Limbada – founding Director of ConnectFutures – a female-led social enterprise founded in 2013 which delivers training and research around disinformation, extremism, anti-racism, hate and violence. As adults and educators try to grapple with the range of intersectional social issues, what are some of the practical insights we can provide to those working with young people? How can we understand, explore, explain and really make sense in a way that empowers and educates rather than divides in a fast changing arena? Finally, how can we centre young people to be the advocates for change?
